Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions specific to The Shredquarters Bristol supersede those elsewhere.

Participation in classes and personal training sessions is entirely at your own risk. Please seek medical advice if you have any concerns. The Shredquarters Bristol accepts no responsibility for any lost or stolen property on our premises.

Membership Fees

The joining fee is taken immediately upon signing up, and the first weekly membership fee is taken on the first day of your membership as agreed upon joining.

Memberships are available for a minimum of the following terms:

  • 1 year: Minimum of 12 months

  • 6 months: Minimum of 26 weeks

  • 8 weeks

Contract payments are taken weekly or monthly in advance, depending on the agreed contract. Weekly payments are taken on the same day each week. For monthly contracts, payments are taken in advance on the same day each month.

For Basic Memberships, the day the payment is taken corresponds to the day your class credits reset. Unused credits cannot roll forward to the next week or month.

From time to time, we may need to increase the price of the membership. We will give you at least one full month's notice of any price increase and when it will take effect. During this period, you will have your usual right to terminate your membership in accordance with the membership terms and conditions.

Membership Cancellation

Cancellation requires 4 weeks' written notice, which must be sent to: bristol@theshredquarters.co.uk.

Cancelling your membership will result in full payment of the remaining term of your contract.

Freezing Memberships

In exceptional circumstances, a membership can be paused (e.g., serious injury or illness). A written doctor's note must be provided as proof of injury or illness.

A membership cannot be paused within the first eight weeks. Memberships cannot be frozen during the notice period. A £5 weekly fee applies for paused memberships.

Any changes to memberships must be requested in writing to bristol@theshredquarters.co.uk. Changes to your Membership option restart the 8-week contract period.

Class Booking & Cancellation Policy

Classes can be booked up to 2 weeks in advance and until the class start time. You must book yourself into the class prior to its start time; otherwise, you risk being turned away.

If you are unable to attend, you must cancel at least 2 hours before the class start time to avoid losing your class credit (if applicable). If the class was fully booked and a waiting list was in place, you will be subject to a £5 no-show fee.
